Job Description

§ Ensures compliance to the GOM (Global Operating Model) and reports any deviations detected

§ Maintains a strong and effective relationship with key suppliers

§ Maximizes the company’s cash flow

§ Interface with regional/global process owner and service providers regarding outsourced activities

§ Participates in the service providers’ governance and works directly with the service providers to identify improvement opportunities

§ Responsible, in conjunction with the Payables specialists, for reviewing the process performance reports and provide feedback to service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure business requirements are being met and the process is continued to be improved

§ Defines and implements local policies to meet globally defined procedures (GOM SOPs)

§ Defines and implements local SOPs for agreed deviations

§ Provides leadership and coaching to their direct reports and develops yearly departmental goals and tracks to target.

§ Sponsorship for the team and its activities, as well as the service providers’ activities

§ Cross-functional communications and engagement

§ Leads projects and change management to implement process improvements in the area of scope.

§ Ensures global internal control framework in the area of scope is implemented and followed.

§ Resolution of escalated issues related to process and control exceptions, internal stakeholders and suppliers

§ Net Working Capital management: define payment plan strategy, define action plans to optimize NWC

§ Approval authorization of payment runs and account reconciliations

§ Vendor Master Update- Approves requests for updates or deletions

§ Process optimization: track and monitor efficiency and effectiveness of the payable process, develop countermeasures to address root causes of problems, risks and inefficiencies, follow up and review results, proactively identify new risks through regular process and system walk-through

§ Responsible, in conjunction with the RTR, IC specialists, for reviewing the process performance reports and provide feedback to service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure business requirements are being met and the process is continued to be improved

§ Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

§ Escalations - Authorization of escalated decisions and process/control exceptions, escalation point for RTR management, supplier escalation

§ Approval authorization of: journals, reconciliations (bank accounts, B/S accounts), corporate credit card requests, new CoA requests, budget and forecasting, provisions for IC

§ Prepares the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and the preparation of supporting statistical schedules

§ Liaison for internal and external auditors and local banks and regulatory entities, act as a signatory of the company.

§ Coordinates the annual independent audit including preparing financial statements which are audited.

§ Active support on budget and forecasting process

§ Reporting: Responsible for commentary reporting, review reports and spot trends, provide input to local/regional specific reports, ad hoc reporting, responsible for month-end results reporting and explanation on deviations

Audits departmental accounting data, identifies and corrects errors, identifies and computes accruals, applies accounting principles to transactions and recommends revisions in departmental accounting procedures to ensure conformance with applicable statues, laws, and Accounting Principles.

Requirements

§ University degree in Finance or equivalent plus 5-8 years of experience in related field

§ CPA Holder

§ Proven hands-on experience in used accounting system, and CREST Analytical Tools (TM1 / Free Analysis)

§ Knowledge of accounting standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements

§ High degree of conceptual and analytical skills

§ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in English

§ Six-Sigma / First Choice preferred

§ Project management skills

§ Effective problem evaluation and solution

§ Strong coaching and people development skills

§ Developing and maintaining effective supplier relationships

§ Knowledge of accounting standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements

§ High degree of conceptual and analytical skills

§ Handling skills on taxation comply with MM Union Tax Law
